Jarrod Bowen Had the team's clearest opportunity of the first half, his strike well saved by the Albanian keeper. With Quansah holding position, he was forced to stretch the play down the right side yet his deliveries from the touchline were inconsistent. Substituted late in the match. 6/10

The captain The match-winner scoring two more strikes for his country. His first a typical close-range tap-in and the second a superb headed goal following a clever run away from the opposition. At 32, he’s only getting better and England stand a real opportunity in the upcoming tournament with him up top. Eight

The attacker Struggled to make an impact out wide. Was presented with a presentable chance following a pass by the midfielder but the keeper denied him. Rashford had a greater influence in his place. 5
