The Soldiers Table Revealed
The third episode ended with a huge suspense moment and introduced the initial group of adventurers who will split off from the main group to embark on their own adventure, apart from the other two tables.
This warrior group consists of Teor (played by Travis Willingham), Thimble (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie).
Why Split the Party?
Considering a large ensemble, it was evident from the start that keeping everyone at the same party would be unworkable.
This explains, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Overture, connecting the personal journeys before dividing into three separate parties: Fighters, Strategists, and Explorers.
What Defines the Combat Party
Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a typically action-packed battle-oriented story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.
Initially, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might seem mismatched, but the actions of episode 3 demonstrate why these five characters are ideally matched for the warrior group.
Why They Must Go
For one thing, the party understands precisely where to head next after a brutal initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.
A former ally of the deceased character—whose death kicked off the campaign’s events—exploited The Crow Keepers for his own means, invading Thjazi’s hideout, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the magical artifacts to dispose of.
Casimir then cleared his obligations and escaped to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.
Personal Motivations
Additionally, each character has a personal reason to leave the city the metropolitan area:
- The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, desires revenge.
- The adventurer has experience in the northern area and advises that it is a nasty location.
- The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his relatives’ demands to kill the target and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
- However, their status as key figures in the influential clan could help the party enter places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Moreover, The fighter swore a unbreakable promise to The savior for his rescue and will now go with him wherever.
Wanted and Hunted
In addition, all of them are sought by the powers that rule the setting for a range of causes, making remaining behind dangerous:
- The agile adventurer and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
- The warrior and The cleric turned against the influential house and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
- Teor is wanted dead by the family.
This leaves them no alternative but to travel to Timmony in search of the antagonist.

From episode three’s follow-up content, we discover that the Soldiers table will not appear the following episode, leaving the other eight cast members to form the Questers and Strategists tables.
