Tracking a Venezuelan-affiliated Oil Tanker 'Pursued' by the US Coast Guard

A uniquely yellow-fronted residential building in the background helped us locate the footage.
We are verifying images and video circulated earlier today that depict the scene of a reported car bomb blast that Russian officials state fatally injured a high-ranking soldier in Moscow.
Russian authorities stated that Lt Gen Fanil Sarvarov was in the vehicle that exploded and that he succumbed of his wounds. A probe is currently ongoing.
The initial step to verify the site from which the pictures were from was based on posts saying the blast happened on Yasenevaya Ulitsa in the southern part of the Russian capital.
Our analysis employed street-view imagery on Google Maps and the local mapping service Yandex Maps to match the distinctive yellow hue of a adjacent apartment building captured in the footage.
Locating additional buildings, lamp-posts and the road configuration verified the exact location the pictures were captured.
Additionally, we verified that the video clips were recent and that the images had not undergone digital alteration.
