The return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense excitement across the community. Starting with the gradual reveal of newcomers before the game's launch, to players developing firm views on the entire lineup of new Megas, there's plenty for fans to look forward to.

With numerous of the Mega Evolutions boasting distinctive appearances that emphasize their traits, one idea naturally: What's the best way to connect this with zodiac signs? This list is based on a blend of intuition, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly selected for this fire sign, as both are the Super Form and astrological sign that evoke the greatest apprehension. However, a Mega Houndoom comes across as always furious, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, known for being playful, light-hearted, and spontaneous. The zodiac symbol known for being endearingly critical is strongly mirrored throughout this creature's entire lineage, from a perpetually surprised expression like a Maiden when you inform them you lack a 401(k), to its inverted visage that’s similar to the symbol a Virgo posts to the chatroom when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than making a strategy.

The Scales – Super Audino

Observe this sweet, sensitive creature, who employs the feelers on its auditory organs to tell how others are emotionally by their pulse. Always compassionate – occasionally to a detriment – and striving to maintain the peace, there are many Libras who would probably appreciate Super Audino's skills. Though, let’s be honest, it would likely just cause them to worry even more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Super Banette

Banette is a creature with a surprisingly sad backstory: Discarded as a doll, it became consciousness through sheer resentment and swore retribution on its former owner. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That seems precisely like many conversations I’ve had with my intense Scorpion friends. A Scorpio adores cosmic justice and comeuppance, making them the perfect pair with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Each Mega Hawlucha and Archers are constantly staging a performance. Being a Sagittarius myself, the amount of times I’ve called myself some version of a “playful little entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its description even mentions how it “poses to display its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most fitting Sagittarius counterpart I can imagine.

Capricorn – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Super Absol has the ability to foresee calamities in advance? That exudes the exact same energy as a Goat, who tends to always think they’re right. The thing is, similar to a prophetic Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute first Mega Evolution that players meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Goat to join the beginning of the Super Form craze.

Aquarius – Mega Chandelure

Aloof element Water Bearer is arguably the non-flame sign that is most like a flame symbol – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are numerous memes about Sagittarius and Aquarius being unpredictable accomplices.
